About the Role
- Ability to create lighting concept presentations. - Ability to edit 3D renderings to show simulated lighting scenes of the design intent. - Ability to develop lighting drawings on CAD or sketches from plans, elevations, sections, and details. - Manage and coordinate application design with clients and third parties and internally. - Ability to calculate luminous output and intensity of the lighting system, make layout plans, work drawings, and documentation of the lighting applications. - Research new lighting solutions and innovations. - Using Dialux Evo and Photoshop to do lighting simulations for presentations, reports as a project requirement, and for validation of the design proposed. - Lighting project management and site coordination. - Coordinate projects with Architects, Designers and Clients on-site and remotely. - Manage, coordinate and supervise installation of light fixtures to meet client expectations when needed. - Provide design direction, review technical deliverables and mentor junior lighting designers. - Take ownership of complex projects, resolve design and execution challenges, and ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualification
Completed university education (diploma/bachelor/master) in lighting design or architecture preferred.
