Project Manager-Planning

About the Role

- Responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects as per agreed customer timelines and internal targets. - Understand project requirements and translate customer needs into detailed project execution plans. - Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and milestone tracking mechanisms. - Coordinate with Engineering teams for design development, technical clarifications, reviews, and timely release of engineering deliverables. - Interact with Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams for procurement planning, vendor coordination, and material availability as per project schedules. - Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams for inspection planning, quality compliance, and closure of quality-related issues. - Work closely with Production teams for manufacturing, assembly, integration, testing, and dispatch activities. - Interface with customers for project reviews, progress updates, technical discussions, issue resolution, and project-related communications. - Monitor project progress against schedule, cost, quality, and scope targets and initiate corrective actions wherever required. - Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact on project objectives. - Ensure timely closure of project issues, action items, and dependencies across all functional teams. - Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve project milestones and successful project execution. - Track project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure project delivery within approved cost targets. - Prepare periodic project reports, dashboards, and management reviews highlighting project status, risks, and recovery plans. - Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, processes, and organizational governance requirements. - Apply best practices in Schedule Management, Cost Management, Risk Management, and Stakeholder Management. - Support continuous improvement initiatives for enhancing project execution efficiency and customer satisfaction.
