About the Role
- Plan and execute packaging solutions for industrial cargo, heavy machinery, project cargo, oversized cargo, and export shipments. - Ensure compliance with applicable export packaging requirements, including ISPM 15 requirements. - Plan and supervise lashing, blocking, bracing, chocking, and securing of cargo inside containers. - Conduct pre-dispatch inspections and ensure photographic evidence is maintained. - Coordinate with customers, project managers, shipping lines, and internal teams. - Prepare cost estimates for packaging materials and monitor actual costs against budgets. - Maintain packaging specifications, lashing plans, cargo measurements, and inspection reports.
Key Skills Required
Qualification
Graduate in any discipline; a diploma or certification in logistics, mechanical engineering, industrial packaging, or a related field will be an advantage.
