- Leading team of engineers and support personnel - Building relationships with vendors and consultants - Seeking new business opportunities - Pre-award activities including design and cost estimation - Writing and presenting project proposals and status reports - Reviewing and approving project plans and specifications - Managing project budgets and expenditures - Scheduling and making assignments - Involvement in detailed design calculations - Planning and executing project strategies - Overseeing all engineering projects and functions - Front end with clients to handle queries - Managing design issues with subcontractors - Ensuring compliance with industry standards - Determining training needs and managing performance - Maintaining positive relations with customers - Supporting upper management - Conducting regular assessments of workplace hazards - Implementing effective risk mitigation measures - Collaborating to integrate safety measures into projects - Designing specialized training programs for engineering tasks - Fostering a safety-conscious culture - Initiating continuous improvement efforts in EHS practices
