Project Planner

About the Role

- Create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) as per project specifications and establish WBS in SAP and Primavera. - Gather details to ensure effective control of project deliverables via supplier plans or detailed internal plans. - Understand engineering scopes and objectives, advise on key interfaces and drivers. - Use verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule, and manhours. - Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. - Provide inputs for engineering dashboards, analyze performance indices, and propose corrective actions. - Conduct meetings with engineering, procurement, subcontracting, and construction teams to maintain optimized level‑4 schedules including manhour budgets. - Identify and report critical activities to project management and issue overall progress reports. - Collaborate with regional project teams to ensure scope and schedule risks are reflected and controlled. - Provide look‑ahead schedules and adjust focus across project phases. - Liaise with manufacturing planning to align priorities with slot plans. - Identify risks impacting schedules, develop contingency plans, and monitor risks throughout the lifecycle. - Perform schedule analysis during tender handover and proposed change scenarios. - Implement and follow up on approved schedule changes. - Execute project close‑out activities including closing SAP activities, networks, and WBS.

Key Skills Required

• Planning Management – Strong knowledge of project planning processes, scheduling, and control.
• Work Breakdown Structure – Ability to create and manage WBS in SAP and Primavera.
• Project Lifecycle Understanding – Familiarity with all phases from project set‑up to close‑out.
• Critical Path Analysis – Identifying and monitoring critical activities and risks.
• Schedule Management – Developing, maintaining, and adjusting level‑4 network schedules.
• Risk Analysis – Identifying risks, developing contingency plans, and monitoring them throughout the lifecycle.
• SAP & Primavera – Proficiency in project coding, scheduling, and reporting tools.
• Engineering Interfaces – Understanding scopes, objectives, and stakeholder coordination.
• Performance Measurement – Using dashboards, KPIs, and indices to track progress.
• Manufacturing Planning Coordination – Aligning project priorities with manufacturing slot plans.
• 📚 Educational & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
