Head Insurance Underwriter -Commercial line

About the Role

- Analyse insurance proposals and assess risk based on underwriting guidelines. - Prepare underwriting reports, quotations, and technical evaluations. - Liaise with insurance companies for quotations, negotiations, and policy terms. - Support the sales team with technical inputs for new business and renewals. - Manage renewals including pricing, negotiations, and timely closures. - Coordinate with internal teams and insurers for policy issuance and endorsements. - Maintain proper documentation and underwriting records. - Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and company policies.

Qualification

Graduate / Postgraduate in Insurance, Finance, or related field
