About the Role
- Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities during the shift to ensure smooth plant operations. - Monitor and maintain all electrical equipment, including motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and instrumentation systems. - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, minimizing downtime and ensuring quick restoration of operations. - Ensure adherence to preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. - Lead, guide, and allocate tasks to electrical technicians and shift staff. - Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and plant safety protocols. - Coordinate with production, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for efficient plant operation. - Maintain proper documentation of breakdowns, maintenance activities, and shift reports. - Ensure proper handling and usage of electrical tools, PPE, and safety equipment. - Participate in shutdown planning and execution activities. - Identify opportunities for energy conservation and system improvements.
