About the Role
- Develop and execute procurement and contracting strategies aligned with project timelines and cost targets. - Lead vendor sourcing, pre-qualification, techno-commercial evaluation, and finalization of subcontractors and suppliers. - Draft, review, and manage subcontract agreements, purchase contracts, and work orders, ensuring legal and commercial compliance. - Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contractual conditions to achieve optimal project margins. - Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, rate analysis, and support tendering and bid submissions. - Monitor project procurement budgets, cost-to-completion CTC, and ensure adherence to approved financial plans. - Oversee issuance and tracking of purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and supplier billing. - Coordinate with project teams for material planning, scheduling, and timely site mobilization. - Manage logistics planning, vendor deliveries, and inventory control to avoid delays or cost overruns. - Ensure proper documentation and control of procurement records, contracts, variations, and change orders. - Generate MIS reports covering procurement status, cost tracking, consumption analysis, and forecasts. - Collaborate with project, finance, legal, and design teams for smooth project execution and dispute resolution. - Build and maintain a strong vendor ecosystem, ensuring quality, reliability, and competitive pricing. - Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and alternate sourcing strategies.
Key Skills Required
Qualification
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field.
